Practice (Rewaz)
Every photograph begins with observation. Before pressing the shutter, I try to understand the relationship between light, form, colour, and the subject.
My work is guided by the seven elements of art—line, shape, form, space, texture, value, and colour. I often use colour psychology to evoke emotion and create visual harmony, allowing colours to contribute to the story rather than simply fill the frame.
In composition, I frequently explore Baroque and Sinister diagonals to direct the viewer’s eye, create movement, and add a sense of balance or tension within the image. These principles are not rules to follow rigidly, but tools that help me interpret a scene with intention.
Photography, for me, is a continuous practice of seeing. Every walk, every journey, and every frame is an opportunity to observe more carefully, think more deeply, and tell a story with honesty.
